Details of the Grounds
While there is so much to love about Lauritzen Gardens, one of the best features is all of the options they give you for celebrating your wedding. You will be able to choose from a wide selection of destinations so you can find the spot that perfectly matches your style!
Your wedding day will begin in the dressing room. You and your party will have a designated spot where you can share a few quiet moments before it is time for your ceremony to begin. It’s the best spot to share a toast and take a few candid photos!
Once it is time to tie the knot, you will have several indoor and outdoor locations to choose from. If you do want to host an open-air ceremony, the Rose Garden might just be for you! This area has over 2,000 rose plants that show off toward the end of spring as well as the start of fall. There is an area in the garden with white trellises adorned with climbing roses. This will be the best spot to set your altar! Then, once you are done, your guests can tour the area while you take your portraits.
Another picture-perfect area is the Festival Garden. This is a space that frequently hosts outdoor events, including concerts and ceremonies. You will have a large, open field where you can exchange your vows while surrounded by friends and family. Another favorite spot is the Great Hall. This area is in the middle of the visitor center and offers soaring ceilings, iron accents, and wooden features that add the right amount of warmth. This is one of the largest sites on the property, giving you enough room for up to 320 seated guests.
The spaces around Lauritzen Gardens are versatile and can be used for both ceremonies and receptions. The Great Hall is always a favorite, giving you plenty of space to dine and dance late into the evening. You can also use the Conservatory for this portion of your evening.

Victorian Garden: These formal gardens feel as though they were taken straight from the pages of a Regency novel! I love them for posed couples portraits.
Founder’s Garden: With lush paths and a storybook gazebo, this is a fantastic option for couples portraits and individual pictures,
Woodland Trail: Gorgeous from early spring through the end of fall, this untamed spot is dreamy for candid couple’s portraits!
Song of the Lark: With a variety of native plants, this is the place for golden hour photos.
Wedding Details
Beyond providing you with picturesque wedding locations, Lauritzen Gardens is going to make it easy to plan your perfect day. The venue uses an exclusive caterer who will take care of creating a menu that suits your style. For your drinks, you will be able to choose from their list of preferred bartenders. When you rent out this space, you will have exclusive access to the facility through midnight. All rental spaces are available à la carte, giving you the ability to host parts of your wedding at separate locations. The venue can handle tables and chairs, plus they will handle the setup and teardown. Outdoor receptions will be able to use the venue’s event tents. Their staff members will be there throughout your celebration to ensure your day is nothing short of seamless. They can even handle the security! The center has onsite parking for up to 350 guests.
