For years, making wine was Mike Murman’s favorite hobby. He started out over three decades ago, making small batches in his basement. While his results were undoubtedly great, he knew they could be a little bit better. Ever the obsessive, he decided to grow his own fruit so he could have increased control over his wines. And thus, Glacial Till Vineyard was born!
These days, Mike has a little help, bringing on his three sons to work the land. The wines have only continued to improve, earning silver, gold, and best-of-show amateur wine-making awards. Glacial Till Vineyard now welcomes couples to come out here and use this stunning property to host the weddings of their dreams. Oh, and don’t worry. They’ll take care of the wine!
Details of the Grounds
When you rent out Glacial Till Vineyard, you are about to work with one of the best wedding crews in town! This venue has designated spaces for nearly every part of your wedding day. If you want to come here and put on the finishing touches while taking some photos with your friends, you will have access to their bridal prep room. In here, you can pull together your look while making memories you can carry with you for years to come.
Now, let’s go ahead and chat about the ceremony space. Trust me, the views here are truly unforgettable! This venue has a dedicated outdoor area with an altar thoughtfully placed beneath a solar panel-turned-pavilion. As you exchange your vows, the sun-drenched fields will show off in the background. Your guests will be seated just to the side of the paved aisle, smiling on as you say your I dos.
Then, once you have a shiny new ring on your finger, you can head back toward the building, where you can host a cocktail hour on the covered terrace. Your guests will get the chance to sample their exceptional wines as you spend some time exploring the property and taking your portraits.
Magical Wedding Receptions At Glacial Till Vineyard
Finally, it will be time to host a reception that your guests will chat about for years to come! You will have two options for this portion. If you would prefer an outdoor dinner, you will have the Upper Level Patio, a sunny space that overlooks the rest of the property. For those who would prefer an indoor reception, you can hold this part in the Event Center, where you are going to have plenty of room to move around and party! The space has been beautifully decorated, giving you neutrally-painted walls that have been elevated with wooden accents. A stone wall to the side brings in some additional natural charm.
And of course, what’s a vineyard without drinks? The Event Center has a full-sized bar at the back with its own bottles lining the wooden shelves. Your guests can come here and order wine and cocktails before heading out to the center of the room to dance by your side. With an open floor plan, you are going to be able to figure out the layout that works best for your celebration. Glacial Till Vineyard will let you host events with up to 260 guests.

With Glacial Till Vineyard, you are going to adore exploring the property and finding all the different spots where you can play with your partner during wedding portraits! When it comes to your individual portraits, you can head into the cellars and take some portraits with the wooden barrels behind you. It’s a fantastic way to incorporate the setting while showing off your look! Once it’s time for your couple’s portraits, you can head out to the vineyards themselves and take your pictures between the carefully planted rows as well as in front of the pond. For your group portraits, the outdoor ceremony spot is ideal, giving you an accessible spot with plenty of space for everyone.

The venue is going to provide you with on-site bartenders who will keep the drinks flowing late into the night. They are going to take care of the details, including the tables and the chairs. Your rental will automatically include 12 hours of access throughout your wedding day with the ability to add time as needed. They will let you decorate and can offer rental items like dinnerware and linens.
